Dr. Haas, the founder and president of the IIC, has dedicated most of his career to educating seminarians and promoting the Catholic Faith. For over 40 years, he has taught theology to seminarians at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus and St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia. He also served as President of The National Catholic Bioethics Center for nearly 30 years and as a consultant to the Pro-Life Committee and the Health Care Sub-Committee of the Doctrine Committee of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. He was appointed by His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to the Pontifical Academy for Life and the Pontifical Council for Pastoral Care to Health Care Workers. He was the host of The St. Charles Forum on EWTN, where he discussed with guests Catholic teachings and their impact on contemporary culture.
