Art Bennett i a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience, currently practicing at Bennett Consulting and Therapy in Alexandria, Virginia. . He was President and CEO of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington, He was co-founder and Director of the Alpha Omega Clinics in Northern Virginia and Maryland. He managed programs for adolescents with substance abuse problems and marriage support programs for US Army families overseas. Together with his wife, Laraine, he is the author of six books: The Temperament God Gave You, The Temperament God Gave Your Spouse and The Temperament God Gave Your Kids, The Emotions God Gave You, and Tuned In: The Power of Pressing Pause and Catholic and Married: Leaning into Love. Art and Laraine have been married for 45 years and have 4 adult children and 8 grandchildren.
