Are We Willing?

In the Gospel, the Lord talks about what should be at center of every human heart. This perspective of what is the most important in everyone’s life should be those that robbers cannot steal or those that cannot be destroyed. Rather, what should be at the center of our hearts are treasures with God, where no moth or rust can destroy.

Let us ask ourselves then, what is of greatest value to us, what is truly the most important thing in our lives? Are we willing to suffer and sacrifice for these?
