A Call for More Canadian Content on CE
Dear Catholic Exchange:
First of all, I think CE is an excellent site. I have used it as my homepage for months now. It occured to me today to send it out to every Catholic in my email address book. Many of these people are lapsed Catholics, or have stopped going to Church altogether. My prayer is that CE might help draw them back to Christ and His Church.
The reason I'm writing: I live in Canada, and so does everyone that I sent the CE site to. I wondering if it would be possible to have more coverage of things Canadian? Sports would be just one example. I'm not sure if you are aware of the fact that there are more than 10 million Catholics in Canada (at least in name). I would hope that that would warrant a bit more Canadian content. It's completely up to you how you run your page, of course. But there are many people in Canada who need what CE offers. It is excellent. I'm a committed Catholic so I'm more interested in the sound theological content than anything else. But, if you want to draw more people in, you might consider expanding the scope of your mission to include your neighbours to the north. God bless you, and keep up the good work.
Pax Christi,
PF Brockman
Dear PF Brockman,
I appreciate your feedback on this subject. Thanks also for the kind words about CE.
We are trying to figure out a way to include more Canadian content in a manner that satisfies Canadian readers and does not confuse American readers. It is also in our long-range plans to offer our website in multiple languages so that Catholics outside of North America can enjoy and benefit from it as well. Please pray that we may grow to more fully satisfy the needs of Catholics worldwide.
In Christ,

Peace be with you,
“Contraception – The Trojan Horse” was one of the best articles on artificial birth control I have ever read. I think it should be published in every Sunday Catholic church bulletin throughout North America.
Respectfully,
C. Zenah
Thank you. Other readers are planning to copy the article and insert it in their parish bulletins on Respect Life Sunday, Oct. 6. Please feel free to do this yourself, making sure that CatholicExchange.com is mentioned in the credit line. Some are also planning to distribute copies of Humanae Vitae, that prophetic document by Pope Paul VI that remains unread by most Catholics. It is published in booklet form by the Daughters of St. Paul and is available for $.25 ea. through the NCCB site.

Conservative Movement Losing its Bearings
Dear Catholic Exchange,
Great article on the conservative movement. The feelings conveyed clearly express what I have been unable to. In fact, after being a subscriber to National Review since 1988, I am no longer renewing. My deeply held beliefs are no longer considered mainstream in the conservative movement and thus, like Pat Buchanan or Joe Sobran, I am labeled as intolerant, extremist, or in the case of Iraq, pacifist. Anyway, I thank you for the article as it gives me hope that there are many others out there who are concerned about the direction of the conservative movement.
Sincerely,
Joe Danella
Dear CE,
Excellent points, especially about the market-driven skittishness of many of the talkers. I disagree w/you on Israel (what I discern to be your position in general alignment w/Sobran and Buchanan) but sure agree w/you that many of the most prominent conservative media figures are more show than insight, and have restricted themselves to the narrow band of issues that the Left has left them almost unaware that they have taken the bait. I think Rush Limbaugh is the Right's equivalent of Sam Donaldson not very bright, pretty reflexive, with scant command of history and that Sean Hannity is just a Rush Jr. People like Ann Coulter don't help much either. I have heard Michael Medved from time to time and have found him smart and thoughtful, a bit more provocative.

Wonderful Website!
Dear CE,
I just found out about your website. It's great. I was looking for Scripture study and your site was recommended to me. What a treasure trove of information you provide! I hope I have the time to read, study, and keep up with everything you have.
Thanks,
Scott Frazier
