A Good Night’s Sleep

Last night, I had a throbbing migraine. I've suffered from migraines since I was 11 years old ( a gift of puberty). In recent years, I have been able to control them with dietary changes, but every now and then, one still comes to wreak havoc on my life. As I sat at my computer attempting to work with the pulsing pain in my head, my husband encouraged me to go to bed. And I knew he was right.

I went to bed at 9:15 and my children amazingly slept until almost 7 am so I had a very good night's sleep. I woke up refreshed, pain free, and eager to start a new day. We live in a very sleep-deprived world. There always seems to be something more important to do, but sometimes the most important thing to do is to take care of our bodies and get a good night's sleep.
