There is one institution in the world that still calls sin “sin”. It is the Catholic Church, which is, ironically, made up entirely of sinners. The Church has the unenviable task of explaining that there are things that the world holds up as rights that are actually wrongs. The Church will not compromise with sin. In other words, it will not excuse sin. But it will forgive sin.
