St. Thomas Aquinas said it best: “The soul, since it is part of the human body, is not the whole human being. My soul is not I. So even if the soul were to achieve salvation in another life, it would not be I or any human being.” Just Google it to find out what we as Catholics actually believe.

Cari, this is just beautiful. We are the ones who have to ALLOW God into the world, in our love for one another. He won’t force Himself on us, but wants us to imitate Him in giving our lives, whether literally as Dorwin and our dear Lord did, or little by little in our every action, as we think of others before ourselves. THAT will change the world more than any wishing, complaining, or politics.
