Wise men have said; "People sin more from lack of will than from lack of understanding." If we want any chance at "The Prize"; "MY PEACE I give to you; not as THE WORLD gives ..." (Jn. 14: 27), we must focus & grasp; "What good is gaining the whole world without a soul with which to love it ?" (Mt. 16: 26). [ I like the image of a mansion built on train tracks; If you don't have blessed assurance of your immortality, you're just waiting for the train (See Dylan's "Slow Train Comin'). ] To foster THE WILL in others, they must see our Prize/ Peace; Much like the centurion soldier who helped to crucify Jesus (see Mt 27: 54). [ I wish luck to anyone trying to endure without the added assurance of Jesus' parting gift of a spiritual Mother (Jn. 19: 27). ] This Prize/ Peace is the only counter to types like Jenny Macaurthy(?) seen on "The View" today who has discarded her Catholic formation for Relativism (no Truth except what is relative to our own personal experiences & appetites). Like a shooting star or a light bulb just before it goes out, relativists will shine bright then fade away. Those possessing The Prize/ Peace will exude an indomitable light that grows stronger through Emanuel(Christ with us)/ Sacraments. [ I've heard of a book that records how souls were converted by witnessing the Prize/ Peace of martyrs.]

I was reading this article I was on YouTube listening to “Old Roman Chant – Tecum Principium” and it felt like the right mood to be reading this article in. Perhaps 3 Prayers to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and 3 Prayers to The Archangel Michael a day for both Triumph and Protection. Also perhaps it is good to become more penitential, increase Pilgrimage attendance with the issues expressed in this article as one of your intentions too.

Can you Catholic and Christian voters out there PLEASE be persuaded NOT to vote for Obama? The Democrats are NOT any kinder to the poor than the Repubs, and Obama and his friends are openly hostile to Christianity. PLEASE slow the decline of our country!

The colder the winter, the more vast the mission field. Misery creates dependency on God. It is comfort that got us where we are. Rejoice at that, steel our spines, protect our children, pray, live a pious life, love others, and convert the pagans! Sounds like the dark ages.
