When Obama and his kind talk about &quot;embryonic stem cells&quot; they really mean stem cells taken from embryos of only a few cells, such that the removal of even one cell kills the embryo.  That is because those are the most versatile stem cells and could theoretically be morphed into any kind of cell.

I say &quot;theoretically&quot; because the means is still way beyond us, and so &quot;embryonic stem cells&quot; still have produced no cures, while &quot;adult&quot; stem cells (an even worse term, since it includes cord blood cells) are effecting all the cures we read about.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Has it occurred to anyone that if they want to use embryonic or fetal stem cells, that cord blood is a rich source of them?  When a baby is born and that cord is cut, it&#039;s discarded, unless tests are needed on the cord blood.  Put the silly things on ice and ship them to research centers, and then there&#039;s no need to create and destroy embryos for their stem cells.  No controversy; problem solved.]]></description>
