Dear Mark:
You wrote: “Here's the real deal: This world is a furnace of suffering. Always has been and always will be.”
Although I agree with your article, this statement displays some ignorance of the Scriptures (see Rev 20:1-3; 2 Peter 3:3-10; and 2 Thes 2:1-4), and a lack of revelation of your own about the times. FYI, Jesus is returning soon, very soon, and in accordance with the Scriptures, He will rule and reign for a thousand years thereafter and there will be peace and joy.
Stuart
Dear Stuart:
Actually, the Scriptures do not teach a thousand year reign. That is a Protestant novelty which became popular about a century and a half ago. Millenarianism is a false teaching that has been condemned by the Church for a rather long time.
