As the psalmist wrote, “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from all eternity.  Amen.  Amen.”

Possible response:  Lord Jesus, today help me ponder what it means that You are the “Yes” to all God’s promises to us.  This is almost beyond my comprehension.

    I’ve always thought of this Gospel reading as encouragement for those of us who are called to be the “Prayer Warriors” for others.  For anyone involved in a prayer and healing ministry, this tells us that the people bringing the person for healing’s faith is what made a difference.  One doesn’t always have to be the faithful..we may be the “paralytic” or we may be the “litter bearers.”  Thanks for your wonderful article!
