Both my mother and I, who raised my children during the 1980′s and 1990′s, used the same logic about child-rearing…get your little fannies outside! Stay out of trouble, don’t hurt each other or anyone else, and be here in time for dinner. If more parents used this same logic these days, we would have no need of “Empress Michele” telling us how to feed and raise our children. By the way, I believe she is the world’s quintessential hypocrite! Countess photos attest to her chomping down on a ginormous cheeseburger, chili fries, and a chocolate milkshake. Really!

We don’t have a tv or any kind of gaming system in my house. We live in a hot climate and just got air conditioning. I’m worried about how it keeps the kids in the house more…

One of my kids in chubby, but the rest all wear “slim” sizes in their jeans. I’m thinking/hoping that the chubbiness in the one child is just a growth stage. He was a huge infant and toddler, too.

I’m going to share this article with the principal of the Catholic school my kids attend.
