Return to Rome

It is said in ancient Rome that if only a Christian would contribute a “pinch” of offering to the Emperor, he would not be condemned or persecuted.  It seems that with the leadership of yet another Catholic – Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts- Catholics find themselves at such a point again. Just a “pinch” of taxes to support the death mandate of Obama-care. The ruling gives Catholics yet another reason to amass in protest of our civic “catholic” leaderships betrayal of all we hold dear.  In an important way Catholics will finally be called upon to take a stand-publicly on what they truly believe or do not believe. Sebelius, Pelosi, Biden and now Roberts have made their choice known.  Now it’s your turn.

While I agree that Chief Justice Roberts has indeed held that the ObamaCare Law is constitutional because it is in fact a tax, it does not mean that he has not done us a favor. By doing what he has done, he has recast the entire debate – i.e. we have become lukewarm Christians and the only thing that we can understand and get passionate about is TAXES. By calling the ObamaCare Law what it is and cutting out the b.s. that the Obama Administration fooled us into thinking about it, Justice Roberts has put the responsibility squarely on the shoulders of those who are ultimately responsible. The “We the People”!
