It is wonderful to finally hear a full-throated appreciation of the free market economic system that is now under attack in so many quarters of our nation these days.
It is ingenious again to associate the economic system that has carried our nation to greatness with the kind of religion that allows for the freedom of conscience, and the kind of politics that depend on a virtuous population, and die when virtue and metaphysics are ignored by a secularized system of education. I pray we will not forget the lessons of 9/11 and the need to fight tyrannical terrorist religion, and the great Reagan free market revolution, and the collapse of the Soviet Union and the liberation of all of its captive satellite nations. The future of our nation hangs in the balance. Either we will remember our distinguished history, or die out of the determination of freedom’s opponents to wipe out our memory of such distinction.
