There is a push for spiritual healing in nursing. Many hospitals use aromatherapy, music, message and Reiki. The only one that scares me is Reiki. That is a religion. Why do hospitals in America reach to a Japanese laying on of hands … rather than to Christ and Christianity? Personally I will bring my Catholicism into my nursing. But I am only one person. It surprises me that Christianity has been overtaken by Reiki in prayer/healing at our American hospitals. It says a lot about our country.
