Don’t Wait!

2 Corinthians 6:2
For He says,
“At the acceptable time I have listened to you, and helped you on the day of salvation.” Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

The operative word in today’s verse is “now.”  God is called “I AM” for a reason.  He calls now, not tomorrow.  He calls now.  He doesn’t sit around saying, “It’s too late.  You had your chance yesterday.  Forget it.”  He calls now.  Answer.  Now.

Just like the parable on the 10 Virgins in Matt. 25:1-12. A good analogy is like when we were young, and home alone doing stuff we knew we shouldn’t be doing, then all of a sudden Mom pulls up in the driveway unexpectedly, and all the kids scramble to clean up their messes, and try to look normal… Maybe Christ is in the driveway NOW and He will be opening the door real quick. Is our mess cleaned up? You’re right. Stay ready like a combat soldier on night gaurd in the jungle. Stay alert, stay alive in Christ.
