    YOUR REVERENCE, BISHOP MURPHY,

    I UNDERSTAND THE CHURCH’S POSITION ON UNIVERSAL BASIC HEALTH CARE. YET, WITHOUT FURTHER CLARIFICATION IT IS EASILY CONFUSED WITH THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT MANDATE FOR HEALH CARE TO BE OVERSEEN BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.

    THIS PRESENT BILL OFFERED BY THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY VIOLATES THE PRINCIPLE OF SUBSIDIARITY JUST AS THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S INVOLVEMENT IN GRADE SCHOOL EDUCATION VIOLATES THIS VERY SAME PRINCIPLE.

    BY REASON OF THIS VIOLATION OUR PRESENT PUBLIC EDUCATION IS MORE ANTI-MORAL THAN IT IS NEUTRAL OR AMORAL.
