In spite of the progress made, since Vatican II, the divisions among Christian denominations can still seem entrenched and formidable. Misunderstandings still abound as to what non-Catholics think Catholics believe.
No matter what age you are, it’s never too late to say yes to all that the Lord has in store for you.
Every day, Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart. He is asking you to open the door, so that you can enter into his presence.
Christmas has ended – a grace-filled time when we celebrated the birth of Jesus Christ, God-made-man. How grateful we are that God our Father would send his only Son to earth to become one of us. Only love would do such a thing (John 3:16).
Every step along the way to heaven can become a taste of heaven as well.
Advent is something of a contradiction in terms. It is a time of receiving and welcoming the Lord into our hearts in a deeper way, but it is also a time to give away what we have freely received from the Lord.
Think of the potential damage that just one person can do to the devil’s plans.
Even when we feel out of touch with the Holy Spirit, that doesn’t mean he has left us. It only means that we need to reach out to him.
God is on our side! His plan and his power are so much bigger than the challenges we may be facing right now: a family situation, a financial hardship, a wounded relationship, a sudden illness, or anything else.
