As I pull out my hair dealing with my son, 13 years old this month, I wonder if he is ready for confirmation this spring, still with my old Episcopal thinking that it is his adult acceptance of the faith. I forgot that Confirmation is the Holy Spirit's fortifying him to battle the dangers of the teen years and beyond. The gates of hell shall not prevail against us! Come, Holy Spirit!
