Blessed Mourning!

Matthew 5:4

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

When we mourn our sins, we are glorious and God delights in our willingness to have life rather than vanity, bustle and phoniness.  He will surely answer such mourning with grace.  When we pretend we’ve got it together, God mourns, because a son or daughter of His is trapped in a clunky full-body armor of bogus and stifling pretense and unable to enjoy life and love amid the torrent of self-justification.  Drop the armor, receive the blessing.  It’s that simple.
