Father destruction by the same cult of pseudo-feminists who embrace eugenics, such as Margaret Sanger --now actually called Eugenics Feminism-- has had such a powerful influence on the American legal system that the biological evidence that fathers are necessary for a child's health has been ignored by most American family courts. Thank you so so much for recognizing this problem. Father hatred in America, is a vastly more destructive phenomenon than gay marriage. Perhaps the Church should put the father problem ahead of the gay marriage issue since so many more children are daily harmed by this.

RE: Fatherless Childhood May Injure Brain Development

Its good to see religious groups beginning to express interest for the sad fact that many children are raised in single parent female headed households. Not to disparage the female but the systems involving custody and child support (monetary collection) set up conditions for running off one parent and otherwise limiting continued rlationship with that parent by the child.

There is also the issue of systematic parental alienation which is epidemic today in part because of the same ineffective and dysfunctional systems mwentioned above and one parents' willingness to use them against the child and its other parent.

With the education of religious groups and action by them perhaps we can dispel myth and approach the need of children and their parents in effective ways sooner than later.
