It's a piece of cake to find a majority who support "efforts to pass health care reform which provides affordable insurance for all." Who would not want that?

However, the question itself is disingenuous, since it does not specify what efforts, by whom, and what the trade-offs are. In the context of the present debate, it implicitly supports the present dash toward socialized medicine.

Apparently, 40% of the respondents weren't fooled. That's encouraging, since who would not want the sugared outcome implied by the question?

What's definitely not encouraging is that the USCCB is promoting, directly or indirectly, the rush to Obamacare. The shameful stipulation, that the program be "abortion-neutral" may be promised but it should be noted that such an outcome will never happen if the "reform" gets passed under the present administration and congress. Even if it turns out to be truly "abortion-neutral", I predict that the USCCB will rue the day it lent its support to this evil initiative.
