By the way, what kind of Catholic writes a letter to the Pope within weeks of his death, to tell him all his good works and what a great person he was? One that wants to have it read at his burial so that he can keep the hook in any of those Catholics who might want to wander from the fold of the Democrat Party. It’s all about Ted, right to the end. Wow, he sure knew the only audience that would think him a saint: the feminists, abortionists, the yuppie drug users, socialist control freaks, the teacher unions who destroy the prospects of the inner city children by robbing them of the values of their heritage, and on, and on. What did he ever do to further the cause of the Church? The most visible Catholic in Washington, and Her biggest enemy. Puh-Leez.

I only pray that Mr. Kennedy did repent in his last days and asked for God’s forgiveness and died “as a friend of Jesus”.

“For My ways are not your ways; and My thoughts are not your thoughts”. Let us pray to God that He will not judge us as we humans are prone to do. I am often way too guilty of that fault myself.

She studies the bible under a Nigerian priest, Fr Peter, who is on the International Theological Commission. It consists of 30 liturgists from around the world, who advise the Pope on theological matters. The group studies any theological question given to them by the Pope or from the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith. Maybe Fr Peter will delve into the Isaiah-Ted connection.

Who can understand the mystery of why God allows the wheat and the weeds to grow side by side. But Jesus said that IS what happens. On Judgement Day the weeds will be thrown into the fire. He also said that not everyone who says “Lord! Lord!” will enter the Kingdom.

I believe the faithful are being tested and purified by suffering through the public sins of the likes of Pelosi, Kennedy, Casey Jr, Sebelius, the clergy who support them, and the cafeteria catholics who stuff communion in their faces several times a year.

Despite being sick today, I refuse to watch the coverage of the Kennedy debacle. I will not let my heart be troubled by this offensive display of Herodius gyrating. I choose to believe Jesus and take his words at face value. Judgement Day will come for us all. It is up to me, inspired by grace, to make sure my lamp is filled with oil and burning brightly.

Along those lines, a person who is not well grounded in their faith, could be swayed (among many examples) by the likes of this heretical display and by some of the postings on the Harvey Milk Day article.

Thank God for priests like Fr Eutenaur who encourage and educate us. (I told my aunt about him too). He is a true servant of God. (just check out his bank account. Ha! Ha!) I’ll listen to, and trust priests like him and my aunt’s son cousin Father Greg (Phila diocese).

However, very often we journey by faith in total darkness. What a gift. Rejoice and be glad that your Father trusts you enough to give you the car keys. He’s in the driver’s seat, we just don’t perceive him. Stay close to the sacraments and one day you’ll pull up and be welcomed under Jersusalem’s Port Couche.

the Holy Father has remained silent on this current debacle. What is he saying?

The same can be said of our heretical catlics, they do have some affinity for the Church, they like to listen to the truth. Like us, they also feel relieved when rightfully admonished.
However, when the party starts and senses are dulled they will always please their worldly lusts first. They will invariably put party politics, church politics, friends and family dynasty before the truth.
They are nice people, they hold their hand out for Communion and hold hands during the Our Father. Many like the Kennedy’s even give large sums to the church to buy annulments and the best burials. They fight for the handicapped and make sure that only loved and wanted babies see the light of day.

Not a dry eye will be seen when Obama defines the intricate patchwork that forms a “devout” Catholic.
This is the Herod and Herodias and heretic side of our Church.

Fr. Euteneur, your observations are the truth, just watch your superlatives.
