I love to sing (even though I'm not the best in the world) and have been part of the church choir for years. My main calling is to play in our instrumental ensemble, but I don't understand how anyone can sit and not sing and make it a priority to sing during times when I am not playing. I also sing along with most of the songs on the local contemporary Christian radio station when in the car or at home. Believe it or not, I find that it keeps me focused on God and Christian thoughts - a continual reminder of God's love, mercy and redemption for us. Yes!
