Guys look I believe my faith in God to be great, but catholicism and modern science are going hand in hand one never proving the other wrong. Science has been proven wrong time and time again, but faith never has. Not to say science hasn't gotten a lot of stuff right though. Evolution has occured you cannot ignore this fact, look at animals all around us, but we as humans are the ones God chose to put souls in and chose us as his children.

I know but the point I was trying to make, clumsily, is that most modern scientists in their training are no longer grounded in natural philosophy. If they were then they would see that many of their conclusions are contrary to reason and there wouldn't be this big "Faith vs. Science" false dichotomy. How many evolutionary biologists have taken classes in the philosophy of Aristotle and St. Thomas Aquinas? What we need are universities that teach science as married to reason, truth, and faith, and that the Truth is one.

Scientists are supposed to be "doctors of philosophy." Why aren't we hearing this from them?
