		<description>I think the same logic applies to the laws to protect animals from cruelty.  I am all in favor of protecting endangered species and not running a puppy mill but it is odd that you can have a legal abortion with no consequences but at the same time you can wind up in Federal prison for cruelty to animals or have the PETA people throw blood at you for wearing a fur coat!
