TODAY’S DARE: Think of a specific way you’d like to greet your spouse today. Greet him/her with a smile and with enthusiasm then determine to change your greeting to reflect your love for them.

FROM DORIS: I do pretty well in this area most of the time because I genuinely AM glad to see Ricky or hear from him, especially when things are going great between us. If I’m upset with him for one reason or another, however, my greeting can be a little less than loving and I usually make sure he knows it.

My first response to today’s dare was to take note of how we actually greet one another on a normal day-to-day basis and then adjust it accordingly throughout the day. This was actually hard to do because my “greeting” was so pre-colored by today’s dare that I couldn’t be as discerning as I had hoped for. But still, I am sure my husband was appreciative of my more “uplifting” greetings throughout the day. (smile)
