Debra, thank you for writing these articles... I was a member of Regnum Christi for 5 years, and I felt inspired to share my story in a two part series on my blog http://lifevictorious.wordpress.com. I wanted to add my support and prayers to others who have been affected by Regnum Christi, especially in light of the recent revelations of scandals. Although I never had any traumatic experience within RC, or even a personal negative experience with any Legionarie priest or RC lay person I have known (in fact, the ones I have known have been good and holy people whom I love), I still have experienced the effects of belonging to a movement which had unknowingly been influenced by a deeply troubled man. Some of these effects were slightly cult-like... even though I was never severely affected, and I was able to see them only after I had stepped away for a year... I still needed to walk through a healing process and become free of certain ways of thinking that did not come from Christ and His Church. God will be victorious in matters with RC/LC, and I am praying for my loved ones who are still in the movement. Many blessings... 'shalimamma' at LifeVictorious.com
