Our parish hopes to send a group of youth to Madrid in 2011 for the next international celebration of World Youth Day. This is a powerful way to evangelize a dying culture.

For a source of encouragement as we try to fight the culture of death, I encourage you to visit homeofthemother.org. Home of the Mother is a relgious association founded in Spain. Its goal is to reach the youth for Christ - specifically, its mission is defense of the Eucharist, defense of the privileges of the Blessed Mother, especially her perpetual virginity, and conquest of the youth for Christ. They have a beautiful magazine which helps to remind us that "where there is great evil, there grace abounds." Home of the Mother and similar groups, in Spain and elsewhere, help us to see God's grace at work in these days of evil.

God bless all those who participated in the Mass of the Family in Madrid!
