I know you could have said it better Cooky but you're being kind to me.
You have a Merry Christmas and a happy new yr.
Your Divine Mercy Chaplet is a super idea. It does say "have mercy on us and the on the whole world" which is comprised of individual nations.

We can win in the pews what we lost at the polls.

Excellent response, goral! Couldn't have said it better myself.....so I won't try.

Just let me add that, in addition to praying for our own country, we obviously need to include others, like Spain, who are "cutting off their noses to spite their own faces"! It seems to me that a daily recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet for a different country each day might make a difference.

“The socialist argument–that liberalized abortion laws will lead to fewer abortions–rings hollow in the face of the numbers.”

You can say that again and the article does. (duplicate paragraphs)
Socialist arguments almost always ring hollow but so do the supplications of right minded people to keep these left-wingers out of office. They get elected anyway because the devil knows how to beguile and to sell sin. The wages of sin is death and death we get through more abortions resulting in further death to the souls of the prospective mothers and families and on into society at large.

Those who argue otherwise are crazier than bed bugs and usually get a Spock type raised eyebrow from me because statistics and logic through words when applied to twisted thought patterns become a part of that immoral, unintelligible mix.

A better way must be found to effectively oppose them and love them back to sanity.

So do we find that the culture of death will begin to defile liberty as they also promote the murder of unborn children: with lies and attacks on the defenders of freedom and life. Those with truth in their possession must render it more and more persuasively, if also more loudly. And, in their own defense, with the truth expose who the liars really are.

God save our souls, marriages, children and families, and whole cultures, societies and nations.
