Thank you, Mr. Mallon, for clearly identifying the source of the wickedness surrounding us today. Somebody had to name it. Thank you.

Your having the courage to name it also gives us a direction to look for the answers on how to address it and cope with it. Jesus said (John 16:33) "...be of good cheer: I have overcome the world"! So shall we as we walk in His footsteps.

One could add also by example the liberal pundits' shrill reponses to Gov. Sarah Palin holding that dear, sweet, innocent little Downs-Syndrome baby in her arms on stage for all the world to see during the Republican convention. Notice how the election has been over for weeks and they're still dumping on her?

Like Herod and the Christ-child, their liberal majesties have decided there isn't room for both "baby" and their twisted notion of modern "womanhood" in the same country. And like their spiritual antecedent, King Herod, the object of their wrath will always be "the baby." And in the example Mr. Mallon sites, it is the quintissential "babe wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger" that elicits the deepest contempt, the strongest hatred.
