Dearest NoelFitz, you need to go back and read your history books WITHOUT the "rose-colored glasses". Mr. Carter and Mr. Clinton, our last 2 Democratic presidents, are the noteworthy authors of our current "discomfort"!

I also disagree with you about the "collapse" of the free market. It has not "collapsed", but been murdered! About the "greedy", I will wholeheartedly agree, and God speed! It is the greedy and corrupt human manipulators of our free market who have sold this country for "thirty pieces of silver".

I read here several quotations.

Would you like to consider the following?

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered”
Thomas Jefferson

Now we see the collapse of greedy free market capitalism.

All the investment banks have collapsed. The government (ie the American people) have had to bail out these institutions.

When Clinton left office the US was doing well, now it is not. It is in debt to Muslims in the Middle East and to Communist China.

Was it Bill Clinton who asked what was so bad with prosperity?

God bless,

NoelFitz.

Yes, the list of messengers is long, and getting old.

But, increasingly, these preachments are heard only 'in the choir'. Anyone else just considers it 'not for me' or resorts to attacks on the messenger without even trying to answer his statement's meaning. I just can't fathom why so many just will not listen and learn that "our government is THE key contributor to just about all of our woes".

There is an effective atheism at work - they refuse to believe and acknowledge that there will be last preachments in their last judgment. At least, there is some silly foolish (counter-Scriptural) notion by which "HE won't find me wrong because I am right!"
