I think it safe to assume that most clueless news bureau managers, editorial chiefs and network morning show "hosts" equate opposition to same-sex unions as equivalent to those opponents of the struggle for racial equality in the 1960's. Is it any wonder they hold little sympathy for opponents of "same-sex" unions, even when they get punched, spit upon or worse? It's time we all realize that what we are dealing with are no longer "news bureaus" or "fact-based" elements of the once vaunted "Fifth Estate," but rather a large, loosely connected propaganda minstry for what Pope Benedict XVI has characterized as the "Dictatorship of Relativism."
