Would not finding a large sector of ‘adults’ among a people who have settled for being treated like stupid children be at least difficult – such as not happening any time soon? Most Muslims are ‘peace-loving’, ‘family-loving’, etc, etc. But, they have little (‘adult’) voice in who is leader – religious, political, tribal, what-have-you – and who is not, and don’t seem to care.

‘Conversion’? ‘Faith and reason’? ‘Religious freedom’? Does the bulk of Muslim folk seem to want to even begin to discuss this just between themselves?

Let’s start with Friday down at the mosque where the women tend just to shut up . . .
