If in soul and spirit, we are exhausted, it is because our consciences went out with the spiritual; and our inner graces from repentance coupled with the loving mercy of God no longer refresh our souls. I don't worry - I pray. But, I know I must be ready to stand firm and take whatever comes because 'they did it to the prophets, too'.
