I envy the people of Bishop Bruskewitz's diocese, where "The work of evangelization and catechesis is always through Christ in the one Spirit to the Father."

Unfortunately, in our diocese and many others, the work of evangelization and catechesis is frustrated by bureaucratic procedures regarding background checks and instructor qualifications, as well as procedures for approval of presenters from outside the CCD program. The limited time and resources in our parish are stretched thin complying with these edicts, leaving little energy for evangelization and catechesis.

I volunteered for our parish education program to be an apostle, but why do I feel like an employee in a large corporation?
