Does God Take Naps?

Familynap You betcha! Stay with me. Don't get too excited. I know about . . .

"Indeed, he who watches over Israel never tires and never sleeps." (Psalm 121:4 – The New Living Translation)

But what about . . .

"The next thing they knew, they were in a severe storm. Waves were crashing into the boat – and he was sound asleep!" (Matthew 8:24 – The Message)

If it's good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me. You probably know what it means when a baby "doesn't get their nap out". It means they end up being grumpy. Regular naps are great for adults too.

When I take a nap . . .

I have more energy in the afternoon

I sleep better at night

I dream more

I am more creative

The consensus seems to be that a 15 minute nap is ideal. You may even want to try a 15 minute Caffeine Nap.

Most of us don't get all the sleep we need at night and naps are beneficial even if you do.

My nap revival started with an excellent product called pzizz. For more info see my review.

What about you? Do naps work for you?

I Love Naps! I have an auto-immune disease and sometimes I just get so tired during the day that I have to take a short nap to be able to continue functioning. I always feel much better after.
