Thanks for this wonderful story.  It not only stated the normal lack of understanding of the world but it helped heal the gap.  It is good to be told that most people see my family of 6 children as a unicorn.  And with that understanding, I can say I truly can't blame their normative responses.  It just doesn't compute.  Thanks for helping me love more by seeing more with this article.

God Bless you my sister-in-Christ!, I, too, am a home schooling mom of seven and we've had the same looks and exchanges in public places. My oldest, at 13 has also been asked if our baby is hers. Isn't it sad that pointing out their age means nothing to the curious kids asking the question. It's good to know we're not the only ones. Let's keep our unicorns healthy and strong to show the world they do in deed still exist! May Our Lady bless us with grace and strength to raise Godly children in an ungodly world. Alice!!!
